Dr. Gary G. Kindley has over 26 years of experience counseling, coaching, and consulting with individuals, couples, families, CEOs, business leaders, educators, and countless creative professionals and entrepreneurs in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. A Texas native, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University (magna cum laude), as well as a Master of Divinity Degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counseling from Texas Christian University.
A gifted speaker, educator, and author, he has been a resource for corporations and entities such as Nordstrom Stores, the United States Army, the Lions Eye Bank, Zale Lipshy Hospital, Tarrant County College District, Killeen ISD, Georgetown ISD, private investment and healthcare companies, as well as city and county governments in Central Texas and the DFW metroplex.
He has completed studies in the areas of psychology, systems theory, conflict management, pastoral psychotherapy, and personality profiling in Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Nashville, Houston, Merida Mexico, Austin, and San Antonio, as well as at SMU, and Southwestern University, including post-graduate studies in psychological assessment, sexual ethics, and life-stage crisis, while at TCU.
He is trained in the use of the FIRO-B, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and MMPI, psychometric instruments for understanding personality, relationships, and team building.
An advocate of educational travel, he has led tours of the Middle East, Greece, Scotland, and England.
Dr Kindley is the father of two sons, and servant to a cat named K.C. His hobbies include travel, piano, and skeet shooting (the challenge of hitting a moving target that doesn't bleed)!
